London studied at Dartmouth College with sculptor Varujan Boghosian and various visiting artists including Larry Zox, Dimitri Hadzi, Robert Indiana, Jack Zajac, among others. Zajac’s style of biomorphic abstraction has had a lasting influence on his work. After several years of carving stone and practical experience in a fine art foundry, he began working primarily in fabricated metal. Recent work includes suspended sculptures from the HELIX series and made of dichroic glass and utilizing computer controlled lighting.
